The default presentation view of a free text poll only gets a few answers on screen at a time. Is there any way to configure a smaller font to show more answers at once? (We can scroll, but new answers popping in at the top make what the audience see through presentation view difficult to follow)
I now know you can change to a custom “theme” during the presentation. So for example the gray default background when attempting a “Q &A” can have a custom look. But can you change that theme as you progress through your slides. For example, starting with a Logo background for the first couple of slide questions and then later have a solid color of different logo background?
If one has a large number of multiple choice questions (say > 5) the default format for display of responses is larger than the display window. Is there any way to reduce the size so this fits the diaplay, rather than having to manually scroll up and down to show results off the top or bottom? You can see that options at the bottom are outside the screen, and you have to manually scroll down...
Hi all, I’m organizing an event of 2 days with 80 participants each and multiple sessions. Hence, the intention is to buy either the engage or the professional account. However, I am worried about the limitation of participants: what do you mean with it? Given the several sessions we’ll host, these 80+80 participants would access to the Sli.do event multiple times (probably with same device). Log in is not required for accessing to sli.do event’s, so I’m wondering how you count participants. Thanks for understanding, Best.
I’m exploring Slido as a potential option for a client that needs to embed live, quick polls on their website for extended periods of time. However, it appears that event can only last one week, which would require the site administrators to continually update the event dates and/or update the embedded code on their site. This doesn’t seem like a practical solution. Any ideas or workarounds?
Hello,I am managing Slido for a large conference. I would like to set up events with multiple rooms for our different sessions and invite guests to create polls, manage the questions, etc. I see how to do that for the event as a whole, but I don’t see a way to restrict the guests to a particular room. Is that possible? If not, do you have a recommendation for how I can ensure that different guests are not accidentally setting up polls, etc for rooms not associated with their sessions? Do I have to create separate events for each one? Thanks,Lori
We are doing a large quiz. People enter their own names at the beginning. The issue is that how do we contact the person who wins without someone else with the same name contacting us and taking the prize. For example - Peter wins Quiz #1We do the quiz on Zoom. We say to Peter please email your contact details to firstname.lastname@example.org so we can send you your prize.Another Peter hears this and sends an email to Bob. How do we know which is the real Peter?
With the new Slido dark mode, is there a way of forcing this on users, rather than it just being a user selectable preference? We need to embed a slido on a dark background page on a website, and it looks really good in dark mode, but rubbish in the generic slido colours.
A community member ask about this a while back (see below). I’m wondering if this feature has been added? I upgraded to the paid version because it looked like that was possible in surveys. I’m disappointed that I can’t figure out how to do this. Fingers crossed! Thank you! Is there a way to have multiple ratings under one question? For example, the question could be “What rating do you give team 1?” and there would be 3 ratings of “relevance to brief”, “presentation” and “wow factor”. Is there a way to have these all show on one page instead of creating a survey where each rating is on a new page?
