Slide control on zoom and sharing an ppt didn't work with Slido
Hi All, Does anyone else have the following issue. When providing slide control via zoom, and sharing an ppt with the slido add-in, the Slide control stopped working when you come to that slide where slido is, when moving yourself forward to the next slide you need to re-provide the permissions to the people who want to have slide control, then it works again but when you come to the next slido slide it stopped working again. Zoom version: Version: 5.11.3 (7123)Slido version (add-in): V220.127.116.1119
Feature request: "Categorize/sort items" option
One type of question that is missing from Slido is to let students sort items into 2-3 different lists. For example, the categories could be Africa, Asia, and Europe and they have to sort different countries (Ethiopia, Cambodia, Hungary, etc) into the right list.
Do guests need to log in to help manage Slido?
Hi, I created a shareable link to share with a colleague to help with the event. However, the shareable link is taking the user to the login page. I assumed with the shareable link, the user does not have to login and can manage the event directly. Please advise.
How to reveal correct answers in Present mode without using the control bar
Is there a keyboard shortcut to reveal the correct answer for a poll question in Presentation Mode. The people that I’m presenting for do not want the audience to see the Control Bar. Note: there will only be a single monitor available, so having Slido open in another window and controlling the presentation from there is not an option. Thanks!
Hi,I’ve created a number of surveys and polls with Slido in Arabic. I’ve changed the language setting to Arabic and also the writing direction to ‘right to left’. However when I run a survey or a poll, the questions and answer options are still ‘left to right’ which is very off-putting for arabic-speaking participants. Is there a way to fix this that I’m missing? Thanks in advance,Daithi
Slido browser Extension for Mozilla Firefox web browser
I can’t find the Slido browser extension in the Mozilla Firefox web browser on the addons.mozilla.org catalog. But here https://community.sli.do/topic/show?tid=500&fid=32 I see that it is supported. So, where can I download the WebExtension for Firefox? If it is not yet available, do you have any ETA when it will be ready to use?
Leaderboard resetting inside an event
Inside one event, is there a way to run quiz questions, do some other interactions (ie...word cloud, general polling), and then do some additional quiz questions and have the cumulative results move from the first block of quizzes to the second block of quizzes. Currently it seems as though the results start from zero when a new block of quizzes starts even though it’s in the same event.
Default writing direction when creating Polls/ Surveys
Hi,I’m creating polls in Arabic. When doing so I can right click on the text field, select writing direction and change it to ‘right to left’ as this is what I require. There is a ‘default option’ but it is blanked out. I have ‘Arabic’ selected in the Poll/ Survey language settings. My issue is that for each text entry I have to right click and do as I have described above. This is very slow and cumbersome. Is there a way to select the writing direction default for all text fields in a survey where Arabic is the language or is there another workaround? Thanks,Daithi
Are longer sentences no longer accepted in a Slido wordcloud?
Hello Slido community! In the past we were able to present longer sentences vs. just 1 or 3 word entries (see attached screenshot). For example, when I add a longer sentence now, I noticed how each sentence is ‘butchered’ into individual words. Is this a new restriction or is there a workarond as I find it quite limiting to only allow a few words vs full sentences.Thank you!Peter
how to create a floating description for each ranking item
Hi there, I would like to create a ranking poll when respondents will rank 15 challenges by priority. While the challenges are easy to understand, we would like to describe each 15 challenge to avoid confusion. Is there a way to create a floating description for each challenge?Thank you.
