We run an international conference and we like to refer to the country or location from where the person that is asking the questions is from to promote inclusivity and show the reach of the conference. Does anyone have an idea of how we might get this information from the people answering our questions?
Hello, you can hide the vote count in the participant views, and still see the results in the admin interface. However in the presenter view (present in new tab) you and everyone else will see the vote count when you use the switcher function on the bottom left hand corner: Also it would be great to minimize that control (which you can) AND still be able to page through the individual survey questions/results, as without a working integration in Powerpoint on Mac, I’m using that view to share results with participants during video conferencing events.Let me know if I should post this as a enhancement idea somewhere. Thanks
Hi all. I just started using the survey and sessions feautre, but when doing so, that seem to totally screw the order questions appear in the present mode navigation. Also the template part is no longer working as nice as before. I want my templates to have priorities over yours and to be able to search for event, sessions and survey, adding then an entire block and not individual questions. Anyone having better solutions to this? Thanks
Hi, we are using the slido plugin for Hopin, but would only like to use the word cloud feature from Slido for this event. Is it possible to remove the tab under Slido that says Q&A and change the one that says Polls to something else? I don’t want our attendees to be confused about which Q&A to use. Thanks!
Is there a keyboard shortcut to reveal the correct answer for a poll question in Presentation Mode. The people that I’m presenting for do not want the audience to see the Control Bar. Note: there will only be a single monitor available, so having Slido open in another window and controlling the presentation from there is not an option. Thanks!
Hi,I’m creating polls in Arabic. When doing so I can right click on the text field, select writing direction and change it to ‘right to left’ as this is what I require. There is a ‘default option’ but it is blanked out. I have ‘Arabic’ selected in the Poll/ Survey language settings. My issue is that for each text entry I have to right click and do as I have described above. This is very slow and cumbersome. Is there a way to select the writing direction default for all text fields in a survey where Arabic is the language or is there another workaround? Thanks,Daithi
Is there a way I can do pair-wise comparisons in Slido?? I have about 10 factors that I want to rank in priority again each other, and not sure if there is a more efficient way to do this than multiple polls. i.e. is ABC factor ‘much more important, more important, equally important, less important or much less important than XYZ factor?? but over and over for the comparison of 10x factors.
Hi everyone,In my Slido, the Ideas feature is the central element and the polls are just secondary. I want that the first thing participants see when opening the page is the Ideas tab, but I didn't find any way to do so. The link always opens in the polls tab. Does anyone know a way around this? Thanks for any help!
hi - so I'm running focus groups that have the same poll questions and I've setup different rooms for each date. Can i use the same powerpoint slide deck for each one and change the session / room? when i switch to another date/room, my slido slides in powerpoint disappear making me think i need to create duplicate slides as well. help anyone?
New to Slido, and looking to purchase the one-time event option as a trial run for future subscriptions.I am looking to create a simple multiple-choice poll for a large exclusively in-person audience. My intent is for each member to go to the Slido website and access the poll from there, voting as I prompt them to.My concern is around the few individuals that may have difficulty accessing the site, or simply do not have a mobile device on which to access it. How can I manually enter their choice for them so that their vote is counted in the poll? For example, I have 100 audience members and my multiple-choice poll is to pick a number 1, 2, 3, or 4. 99 of the audience members are able to log in to the poll on the website, but one person is having problems with his phone. He tells me as the person administering the poll that his choice is #2. How can I go into the poll as the administrator and select #2 for him, bringing the total votes in the poll to 100 instead of just 99?Thanks for the
Hello I’ve created a quizz.I have an issue as when people answer a question, when they click on “Send” they go back on the home page event and I can’t display them the results on their devices (see below). They then have to re-enter their name and if I activate the quizz they also have to re-enter their name if the app (see below) How can I avoid that and keep accounts connected ? And keep people on the answer for all to see the results and then to see the right answer. Thanks !
Hi I’m completely new to Slido and have created a quiz which is fine. However I’m also being asked to do something but not sure what it would come under : I need to write down : Group 1 then Person 1 and Person 2 under it. Group 2 etc, Group 3. It doesn’t work under quizzes as there isn’t a correct answer at the moment. The lady I’m doing it for intends to add the names actually at the event - is this something I can do ? Thanks in advance for any help. Nicola
We operate in a highly regulated environment and want multiple users to be able to separately run predefined polls/quizzes based on accessing controlled content which cannot be edited by these users. Does anyone know whether Slido can support this type of Use Case?
