Hello I’ve created a quizz.I have an issue as when people answer a question, when they click on “Send” they go back on the home page event and I can’t display them the results on their devices (see below). They then have to re-enter their name and if I activate the quizz they also have to re-enter their name if the app (see below) How can I avoid that and keep accounts connected ? And keep people on the answer for all to see the results and then to see the right answer. Thanks !
HI - Does slido have the option for other people to upvote answers submitted in an open-text poll, then rank ordering the answers according to the answers submitted? Or can this feature be submitted? It is a very useful feature I’ve used in another polling app. Thanks
I will be hosting an event for three days this week. I’ve already tested the quiz but I would like to perform one final test on the day that the event takes place. Is this possible with the one event professional subscription? I have set the date to Wednesday to Friday this week and would like to do a final test run on Wednesday morning. Will I be able to reset the results and host the quiz on Thursday?
I have a SLIDO quiz of 40 questions. I would like to activate the quiz but have the questions presented in a random order (not 1 thru 40). I want to do this because I may use it multiple times and want to change up the question presentation order. Thanks for any guidance.
Running two monitors and I regularly use the feature in PPTX Set Up Slide Show menu under Show Type “Browsed by an individual (window)” instead of “Presented by Speaker (full screen).” Doesn’t seem like Slido works with the browsed by an individual….when I start the show and get to a slido slide, it displays the instructions “Start presenting to display the joining instructions on this slide...” and the QR code float in a separate window on my other screen. Other posts I’ve read said you MUST run Slido in full screen, which I’m hoping isn’t the case. My setup:Large 49” monitor with Microsoft PowerToys split into 3 columns, one of which I run PPTX. My second screen is my 15” laptop screen and that’s off to the side, so if I must run full screen PPTX in there to get Slido to work properly, I have to look away from my camera while presenting. I’m not interested in using Presenter Mode because I need other screen real estate. Are there any workarounds? Why can’t Slido load properly whe
HI - I want to delegates to vote on some videos, so they will view 3 videos and then vote for their favourite. So I need to be able to link to the videos (on Vimeo) but also I want to send out the polls in advance so delegates have plenty of time to respond, say 5 days before. Thanks
Hi all, I struggle to find a solution for one thing… I have created a template event for myself (scheduled in a very distanced future) and shared it with the colleagues contributing to our common meetings. But there’s no button for them to duplicate that event so it is basically pointless. Is it impossible for the guest contributor to dupliacte it?I cannot also find any “normal” way to save an event as a template, and as per the subject linked below, I don’t think there is any actually. It is such a missed opportunity and - as collaborating with others - an essential functionality to have in such tool. It’s such a waste of time to have to re-create the event from scratch every time… How to share Slido templates? | Slido Communit
Hi, I would like to run a simple interaction at an event. I would like to ask the audience to come up with a name for our intranet, and then have them vote on the options and it all come up on screen in real time in our meeting? Is that possible with the free account? (A different question is whether this is a good idea… in case the intranet ends up with a silly name). Appreciate any advice on this! Thank you.
I used to use Kahoot for teaching my college courses but switched over to Slido for ease of integration into PowerPoint. It is very effective and the students enjoy the interactivity. HOWEVER, one of advantages of Kahoot was that I could share the review quizzes with the students so they could use them as study tools. I think Slido would benefit from more flexibility in terms of how the quizzes, surveys, etc. could be delivered (i.e. able to be left open of the course of an event vs only live). It is frustrating that this is not an option with Slido, especially given the yearly cost.
