We have an event with (8) different breakout rooms. We have 8 different cities joining, one city for each breakout room. We do not want one city to be able to switch to another city’s breakout room, and we are hoping here is a way to lock that functionality. We see that, as a participant, you can select your room at the top of your window. Anyway to disable/lock that?

I want to make 10 quiz for individual guests. For each question, there are 3 answers and guests will chose one answer - then we will show the correct answer.After 10 quiz, I want to give presents to TOP 3 people who choose the correct answers the most. Does Slido have such a function to know who are the TOP 3 winners in the quiz?

Hi,I’m creating polls in Arabic. When doing so I can right click on the text field, select writing direction and change it to ‘right to left’ as this is what I require. There is a ‘default option’ but it is blanked out. I have ‘Arabic’ selected in the Poll/ Survey language settings. My issue is that for each text entry I have to right click and do as I have described above. This is very slow and cumbersome. Is there a way to select the writing direction default for all text fields in a survey where Arabic is the language or is there another workaround? Thanks,Daithi
It would be super helpful if we could duplicate a session. Right now we have to duplicate each question and assign it to a different session. It’d be great to do this all at once to reduce the work, as well as reduce the margin for error if we duplicate things wrong or miss a question.
New to Slido, and looking to purchase the one-time event option as a trial run for future subscriptions.I am looking to create a simple multiple-choice poll for a large exclusively in-person audience. My intent is for each member to go to the Slido website and access the poll from there, voting as I prompt them to.My concern is around the few individuals that may have difficulty accessing the site, or simply do not have a mobile device on which to access it. How can I manually enter their choice for them so that their vote is counted in the poll?For example, I have 100 audience members and my multiple-choice poll is to pick a number 1, 2, 3, or 4. 99 of the audience members are able to log in to the poll on the website, but one person is having problems with his phone. He tells me as the person administering the poll that his choice is #2. How can I go into the poll as the administrator and select #2 for him, bringing the total votes in the poll to 100 instead of just 99?Thanks for the
Hi there,I am trying to create a poll where a statement/question is made to the participants, and they can then use the free text field to submit their thoughts and answers. Ideally I would then like other participants be able to vote or ‘like’ any answers that they see appear on the screen, so we can then rank the answers. Is this possible?

Hi Community,I’m working on a training event. Within this training, I’d like to have a PRE-training survey and a POST-training survey. Both surveys have the same exact questions (and answers). I would like to present (ideally in a single screen/report) results from both PRE and POST surveys to show the improvements to the audience, highlighting the effectiveness of the training… I’d like to also show more basic statistics (average score, min/max, std. dev., etc.)Does anybody know how to do this or is this even a feature? I purchased the Professional Plan, yet I don’t seem to find a way to execute this… Alternatively, does anybody have any other proposal as to how to show improvement? Thank you,OM-22
Hi I notice in our testing of the quiz and survey that we have set up that although we reset the survey after each test, our testing data still appears in the analytics. Is there a way to reset the analytics so that our test analytics data does not affect the real data we want to collect at the event. Jason
One type of question that is missing from Slido is to let students sort items into 2-3 different lists. For example, the categories could be Africa, Asia, and Europe and they have to sort different countries (Ethiopia, Cambodia, Hungary, etc) into the right list.
Dear Slido community, I would like to know how long can you keep a Q&A and poll active with a free account. I would like to reuse the same link/event for some time (maybe some months). Is that possible with a free account? I read about the permanent link but not sure if I understood. Also, when I try to change the end date of the event, it’s not possible to be longer than one week. We have a one time professional subscription. I have created a quiz that I have set the date for as 7-13 August. The event itself is on 7 August, but I want to allow people time to complete a short survey at the end so I extended the days). I have noticed an ‘assign session’ and ‘create a session’ tab in the three dots next the the Quiz session. What I have done by assigning then creating a session for 7 August and setting the time for the 2 hours the actual quiz will run on the day. What have I done here by doing this? ie Is this somehow different to the 7-13 August setting I set up when I created the quiz? Have I set a time which means participants won’t be able to log in and participate in the until the time I have set and will it shut down - lock them out - after the 2 hour time I have set? Apologies but none of these distinctions seem to be mentioned in your multitude of disparate instructions. Jason
Hiwe have an event where we are using SLIDO to run a quiz. It is a one time professional subscription. The quiz is live and live streamed. We therefore have two distinct audiences (live and online) that we want to keep separate but who are competing in the same quiz at the same time and seeing/doing everything the same (except for time lag -see below). The quiz is being live streamed on YouTube and participants will play the quiz via SLIDO on separate devices. We will operate the SLIDO to sync with what is happening in the live quiz.I have set up multiple rooms (1 for the online participants and 1 for the live audience). For the online audience, there is a potential problem with a time lag with what is happening live and being live streamed on youtube and what the people playing online will see via SLIDO - ie while we can sync the SLIDO quiz with the live event, for the live audience this may be out of sync ie apparently up to 30 seconds between what happened live and when the online
