We have a few things we’d like to have show up when a participant goes to ask a question (not so much ‘rules’ as ‘suggestions’ for interaction). Is there a way to preempt the actual Q&A with a one pager that has a few text based bullets and a link?

There isn’t a direct way to change the welcome screen but you could embed external links to your event and then ask participants to review them during the event. You can add external links via event settings.
Alternatively, we may be able to make changes to your welcome screen via a customisation. Could you reach out to our lovely customer care team at support@slido.com with your request and the event code? They might be able to assist, depending on what exactly you’d like on the welcome screen.
