I want to begin each lecture with four questions to ascertain knowledge of the subject matter that the participants may already have. I do not want them to see the results of the quiz at this point. At the end of the lecture, I will give the same quiz again, but after the time is up for the last question, I would like to reveal the results of the first quiz compared with the results of the second quiz.I’m a real newbie and right now I’m trying to figure out how to keep the results from showing even though I have unchecked the “Show Results” box.
The Slido green button does not appear in the Home bar for me. I’ve downloaded Slido for Powerpoint three times and installed (and uninstalled, and reinstalled) it three times. I’ve restarted PowerPoint every time. I’m running Microsoft Office Home and Student 2016 (PowerPoint Version 2010, Build 13328.20356). I’d really like to use this tool, but how do I get it to integrate with PowerPoint?
I’ve integrated Slido with Powerpoint and set up some polls, including word clouds, ratings and open text. However, when I start the presentation, I reach the Slido poll and while the sidebar shows the results, the corresponding slide simply has “Start the Presenting to Display the Poll Results on this Slide”, and does not display any of the answers.I’ve tried starting the presentation with Slido, with f5 and with Powerpoint’s “Start from Beginning” button and none of them have shown the results on the slide. What am I missing?

Hi,We do have a Webex subscription and I wanted to know if it is possible to log in to Slido and use this to generate more than 3 polls? At the moment I log in to Slido using Webex but it only allows me to create 3 polls. Please note that I am not opening Slido within Webex because our Webex Admin does not permit it, but I am trying to log in to Slido using Webex credentials. Thanks in advance.
You can now make questions mandatory to answer when sharing Surveys with your audience! Here’s how you can set it up in Slido admin 👉Go to your Polls and open up or create a Survey. On the right hand side, simply toggle on Required question for those questions that you’d like to make mandatory for your participants to answer. Activate the Survey and share your event or the link to the Survey with your audience. And here’s what your audience will see 👉If someone tries to submit the survey while skipping required questions, Slido will automatically highlight the ones that are mandatory in red and won’t let them send their answers until all of them are filled in. That’s it! You can pick and choose which questions you’d like to make mandatory to answer, or even make all of them required. We see many clients using required questions for collecting feedback after strategic meetings, such as all-hands or quarterly reviews. This is to make sure that they collect the opinions of even tho
I’m using presenter mode for PowerPoint and when I get to the Slido slide it pops out of presenter mode into a full screen display. When I press the arrow key to move to the next slide I am no longer in presenter mode, all I see is the full slide screen. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Thank you!
Hi there, We have integrated Slido with Microsoft Teams and have tried it several times during meetings successfully. As of recent, we see that participants see the login page instead of the Slido Poll and Q&A page (see below). Could you advice us on how to disable this or how to unsure that participants do not have to login while using slido on Microsoft Teams? Thank you!
Did you know it’s possible to display your Slido poll results as a pie chart? It’s still work in progress, but you can jump right in and test it out today! Join the discussion and let us know what you think. How to set it upIn your multiple choice poll, toggle on the option Show results as pie chart Once you’ve done that, share your Slido event code or link with your colleagues or friends to collect votes Open Present mode and let the magic happen! The pie chart will also show on your participants’ devices once they vote. You as a Slido admin will see the results as a bar chart for now. Help us make the pie chart betterOur pie chart is currently in Beta version, which means there’s still room for improvement. To discover its full potential, we’d like to invite you to join the discussion below and leave your feedback:Is there anything you’re missing? Anything you’d like to change? When would you prefer using a pie chart over a bar chart? Please be as specific as possible - the more de
I have ended up with multiple occurances of the slido app in a recurring teams meeting that is causing confusion for participants as you can see 3 Slido buttons in the meeting view. How can I remove the unrequired slido tabs without having to reset the meeting up and starting fresh? I tried to uninstall the app and reinstalled and it add all 3 back in again...
Hi there,we're considering about switching from mentimeter to slido because of your google slide integration. However, one thing we miss is the ability to have multiple sliders on one slide. Is that something on your roadmap? There is a slide format as live polling from menti, where you can have multiple sliders like in the attachment. There is 3 things I like better in Menti then your ratings:1. Sliders are nicer than the bar of stars. Stars don't really fit certain questions (e.g. how scared are you doesn't relate well to "I am 5 stars scared").2. I can have multiple related sliders on one slide. Slido forces all sliders onto a new slide. This is very limiting.3. For large audiences, the distribution illustration is extremely valuable. If my team is split into two polarised extremes, the next steps have to be very different compared to everybody is centered. Both produce the same average however.
Hi there, so I have a presentation assignment and I put Slido in my PowerPoint file. If I saved that PPT file on a flashdisk, plug it in on my school computer on the presentation day, would it still functioning like it is on my personal computer?
Hi and welcome to Slido for Teams community! This is a dedicated space for you to ask questions and share your feedback on the app. I (Martin Srna) will be here to listen and answer any of your questions! We launched the app together with Microsoft last week and we’re excited for you to give it a try. To learn more about what it allows you to do, go to slido.com/teams or just check out this short video. If you’re already past that and can’t wait to use it, this quick guide can help you set things up. If you’ve tried the integration already - please let us know what you think and share your experience with us in the threads below! If you have any questions about how to use the app, don’t hesitate to start a topic and ask a question, right here in the Slido for Teams category! Looking forward to building the community around Slido for Teams together!
Hi, When I open Powerpoint I can see Slido. After pressing the box appears however I get a message stating ‘network error please check your connection and retry’. I have run the check.me and everything is green. I am on the internet so the network connect seems fine. Can you help?
When I set up a word cloud in Slido for PowerPoint, it creates a slide with a small QR code. There’s seems to be no way to enlarge it enough so people way in the back can see it.Is there any way to make it larger or even print it out (and waste paper)?Yes, I know they can go online, use the code, etc.
We’re considering switching from Menti beacuse of your better google slides integration. However, one thing that is holding me back is the open ended question format. Here Menti allows to show much more on one slide: Maybe this is something you can add/improve on slido?
I’m running a quiz built using the powerpoint plugin. After each question, I am displaying a slide to explain the correct answer.I’d like to also display interim leaderboard along the way, but I want to display them after the answer explanation slide. The “Show leaderboard” option after each quiz question will show the interim leaderboard before the answer explanation slide that I created. Is there any other way to show an interim leaderboard or is that checkbox the only way to do it?thanksJosh
