The month of April brings more exciting product updates from Slido HQ 🎉There has been a lot going on, so here's a summary of everything that's new in our world 🌎 🗳️ Improved voting experience in Microsoft Teams To provide your Microsoft Teams participants with the best experience, we've made voting easy! Voting options in Microsoft TeamsWhat’s changed:No more pop-ups for voting: The meeting chat is notified when a host activates or deactivates a poll.   Chat notifications: A notification will appear in the Teams chat window, prompting attendees to go directly to the poll. Create Polls, a Quiz and a Survey

Polls are a great way to collect inputs from your audience. Whether you're organizing a (remote) company meeting, conference, or teaching a class. You can use them to lighten up the mood, test knowledge, or ask for feedback. You can choose from various types of single polls, or activate multiple polls at once and build them into a Survey. To get a poll set up, you must first create an event in Slido. Click on your event, then select the Interactions tab on the top left (Analytics are on the right). Next to interactions, select the + Add button. You will then see the options to Create new interaction for : Multiple Choice Poll Word Cloud Open Text Poll Ranking Poll Rating Poll Quiz SurveyInteractions screen in Slido admin Once your poll is ready, it will appear on the left of the admin screen, where you can activate and deactivate the poll when needed. Your poll question can contain up to 256 characters. There's no character limit for responses to an open text poll for participants. Mul

Can I receive an email notification when a participant completes my survey?

I have set up a survey for only Participants with a specified email address. Is it possible to receive an automatic email from Slido that lets me know that the specified Participant has completed my survey?  This would same me time check that they have complete the survey.

I bought the One-Time Event Plan and have not yet created an event. How do I create the event?

Hi there, I just bought the one-time engage event plan but have not yet created an event. Now, if I want to create the slides, Slido asks me to upgrade and to pay again… Where can I start setting up the event that I paid for???My event is tomorrow, so a bit frustrated. Thanks for any help!

Transfer event ownership

If a member of your organization left the company, or if someone needs full admin rights for a single event, you can transfer events to another member of your organization in just a few clicks. Available in our Engage plan (Annual and EDU) and higher. The Owner or Admin of the organization can transfer events of any other member within the same organization. building a scavenger hunt

Hi Community,I want to build a kind of scavenger hunt. Teams of three people will walk around a large garden. At ten different locations they should answer one question. So I don’t want them to just stand somewhere without moving and answer all 10 questions. ;) I wonder how to set this up best. Can I create this within one event and give them QR codes/links/passcodes to each questions or do I have to create ten events each with one poll?Thanks a bunch for a hint!

Same slido for multiple presenters in a single educational session

I am running a 1 hour session with 6 speakers. Each will show  their own 10 minute powerpoint presentation. The presentations will not run as a single slide deck. How can I use the same poll (with different questions from each speaker) for all presenters? This way participants in the audience will not not have to keep scanning different codes.

Pre-defined list of phrases for the Word cloud poll type

How can I predefine the suggested list of phrases for the Word Cloud poll type?For example, I want to ask the audience to tell me the names of brands they use to gather logs.And I already provided them a short list of most popular ones like:ElasticSearch, Grafana Loki, StatsD, Datadog, New Relic.So, via the poll I want the audience to not only choose brands that they use now, but also type new brands that are not listed yet.So the “Multiple Choice” poll type doesn’t suit because they can’t add new options there.The “Word Cloud” poll suite more, but I can’t predefine the list of suggested options, so people will type something like “Elastic” + “ElasticSearch” + “Elastic Search” + “Elastic Stack” + “ELK” and we will got a lot of duplicates. So, could you please extend the “Word Cloud” poll configuration to allow adding predefined suggested options, with keeping the ability to add new custom strings?

Blurry Slides using "Present with Slido" in Google Slides, Safari

Dear community, The slides are blurry when using "Present with Slido" in Google Slides on Safari.This does not impact slides generated by slido. Thus, I suppose the problem is not connected to Safari browser. Any ideas how to resolve this? Thank you 🙏

We have download and installed the Slido 1.10 version but was not showing in the Power point. We have reinstalled the same but still no luck. Restarted the device and updated the MS Office. Have checked in System tray and PP add-ins and Disabled but nothing there.

Hello everyone,I have purchased the one-time professional plan.I will be hosting an event and plan to use Slido for an ice-breaker quiz.  Is there a way to play a video at the end of each question (after the correct answer is revealed)?  I need to play a different (already recorded) video at the end of each question.  I hope this makes sense :)  Thank you!

You can increase the number of questions displayed on the screen for your participants. Displaying Survey Results

We are running a contest where participants will judge 10 entries based on 4 consistent criteria.  I’ve set this up as 10 x survey polls each with 4 questions that ask for a 0-5 ranking.  At the end of the process I would like to add up the scores for each team (survey) and display on a single results screen bar chart or similar with a bar representing each teams score out of 20.  Unfortunately I haven’t managed to find how to do this through the help guides etc so am hoping someone might be able to help please.  Thank you.
