Dear Slido Developers,I have created some quizzes with Slido and would like to share them via a link. However, I do not have this possibility, when I click on the three dots for the settings. How can I share my quiz with the students? If I am not mistaken, last week I was able to do so, when I was playing with my first quiz. Many thanks in advance!
Surveys allow you to ask multiple poll questions at the same time. They let you group several polls which participants then fill in all at once. They’re also a great way to ask for feedback. Available in all paid plans. You can decide whether you want your participants to ask questions and answer polls anonymously or with their names, by default. Even if you’re using Single Sign On (SSO), your audience can interact with Slido totally anonymously. If you'd rather everyone use their names, you can set this up too. This can be done through privacy settings on both an event and organizational level. Available in Professional, Enterprise, Premium, and Institution plans. In this article: Participant privacy options Changing privacy settings for a single event Changing privacy settings for all new events Participant privacy options You can choose from four options: Anonymous by default Named by default Always stay anonymous Always require name These options don’t affect the Quiz (where participant names are required) nor the Ideas feature. Webex guest participants’ names and emails are now available in exports. Starting from Webex version 42.10.Here’s how participants will see particular options when typi
Using an embedded Slido event, you can connect with your online audience who can send questions and vote in polls directly from your website. See an example below of how the embedded Slido Participant mode can look on your website: Available in our Professional plan and higher. In this article:Embedding Slido into a website Get separate links for Questions, Polls, or Ideas Embedding an event which has live video Embedding a single poll or a survey Embedding multiple rooms Embedding Slido Present mode Embedding Slido into a websiteYou can embed Slido Participant mode into your website by following these steps:Here's a visual guide to how to get your embed code: This is how the embed code looks. The "event hash" is unique for each event:<iframe src="https://app.sli.do/event/eventhash" height="100%" width="100%" style="min-height: 560px;"></iframe> If there’s no Privacy setting enabled on your event, everyone who opens a website with embedded Slido will automatically count as
If you’re organizing an event with multiple rooms or you’re expecting a bigger audience, you might need an additional pair of hands to help you approve questions or activate polls. With any of our paid plans, you can share your event with as many guests as you need. If you’re using our free Basic plan there’s a limit of 10 guests per event. Please note a guest can be added to one event per each event owner in an account. Guests can't access or change any event settings. For an additional member to change event settings, this would require additional users. In this article:Invite guests to your event Allow inviting external guests when SSO is set for your Slido Organization Manage guests Guest competencies Invite guests to your event You can invite additional administrators to the event by email or using a shareable link. To send an email invitation to a guest:Open Settings and select Share access Type in the email address of the person you'd like to add Select Invite to send the email
I followed steps from video to download add-in. As soon as I open PowerPoint, Slido icon says I’m offline. The error never goes away even if I logout of Slido and back in again. I am most definitely not offline. Has anyone seen this error before? Thanks.
The Multiple rooms feature allows you to use Slido during concurrent sessions at meetings or events. You can manage audience questions and run polls for each room separately.Your audience will be asked to choose a room to enter when joining the event and they’ll be able to switch around over the course of the event Available in our Professional plan and higher. You can now use Multiple rooms in Webex meetings and webinars! In this article:Create rooms Activate and deactivate rooms Manage rooms Get the permanent link for a specific room Create rooms Whether you're running an event with parallel tracks, or multiple training sessions during the day, setting up multiple rooms will help you divide your content. Overall, you can create up to 200 rooms but we recommend keeping the number much lower to provide a better experience for your participants. To create a new room:Go to Settings Select Multiple rooms Create a new room and change its name Click the color next to your room name to al
When running live polls, there are moments when you need to hide the results from the audience to keep them on their toes. Once everyone's voted, you can easily reveal the results and present them live on the screen. There are three ways to hide results. You can choose to hide them while you’re creating the poll, after you’ve created it or while running the poll in present mode.In this article:Hide results while creating the poll Hide results after creating the poll Hide results in present mode Hide results while creating the poll If you click on the Hide live results checkbox while creating your polls, it will prevent the audience from seeing the results right away. Setting up ‘hide live results’ in poll modal Hide results after creating the pollWhile launching polls from the Live Polls tab, you also have the eye icon to help you hide the results. It hides the results both in participant devices and in Present mode. Hide results in present mode In Present mode, you can hide results b
With basic - it says only 3 polls per event. So does that mean after 3 Slido slides I can’t use it anymore unless I upgrade to the next level? Silly question, but I’ll ask anyway - each presentation you run you can have up to 100 participants (if you’re on basic)? So if I have two presentations in a day - each could have up to 100 participants is that true?
I have a presentation tomorrow and creating a slido event that has many quizzes for. the team. Each will need to be treated as a separate quiz with its own leaderboard. I don’t want to create multiple slido events (because this will be a pain for the audience). I want to create 1 slido event that will then have multiple quizzes with each one having their own leaderboard and not connected to the other quizzes. Is this possible? Thanks
Hi, I was wondering if the following is possible, but can’t find anything. I want to run a poll during a presentation. However, once I go to a next slide, I want to keep the question open. I always have 1 “normal” slide and 1 polling slide. Is it possible that users can actually go back, once the new question is automatically displayed, but they want to keep adding their answer(s) to the prior question? Thank you!
While using Slido in WebEx I get the pop up message “You’re using an outdated view of Slido. We’ll enable the new version for you on Dec 1, 2022.” Will this version be finalized before I get forced off from the old Slido view?I noticed not all features work there, the one I'm mainly concerned about are Agendas. Without Agendas all the questions are cluttered in a random order, which makes it hard to find the right question at the right time. Another thing that does not work are Surveys. Locking + showing the answers, doesn't actually show participants the correct answer. These are both features that are a MUST in my opinion and I hope they will get addressed before the December update.
I would like to have one Slido event with two rooms to support the use of Audience Q&A for two different speakers. Room #1 can be anonymous (if the user chooses to stay anonymous). Room #2 requires users to identify themselves to ask a question. Is this possible?
