Ideas allow you to collect ideas from your colleagues or clients in meetings or brainstorming sessions. Participants can upvote the ideas submitted by others and the most voted ones get to the top. This allows you to prioritize and capture those that resonate with your audience the most. In this article:Turn on Ideas in Settings Create an Idea topic Collect ideas How to use Ideas at your meetings and events Ideas are currently in Beta, which means this functionality is still under development. Currently, Ideas are not supported in our Webex Meetings integration, PowerPoint integration and Google Slides integration. I’m running a 3 day event and would like to use one event code (so only one QR code as we are adding to event badges) Slido for polling questions, Q&A, and daily/EOC survey. Before I continue loading poll questions is there a limit of how many can be loaded to one event QR/code? I searched and could not find anything. Thanks.
Use the open text poll to have attendees type in words or longer text. This is especially useful if you want to ask an open-ended question. In this article:Create an open text poll Run the poll and see how it works for your participants Moderate poll responses Create an open text poll In your Slido event, go to the Live polls tab, select Open text and add your question. If applicable, you can also allow the following setting:Allow multiple answers - if you want to allow your participants to submit more than just 1 answer to the question Creating an open text poll Once you’re done, hit Launch to activate your poll instantly, or simply Save it for later. In case you need to make changes to your poll, click the three vertical dots next to your poll and select Edit. Run the poll and see how it works for your participants Once you’ve prepared your poll, you can activate it by clicking the green play button (not needed if you hit Launch when creating the poll). You can then open the Partici

Hello all,I just learned about the Slido not being integrated with Microsoft Teams Live Event. Very soon I will have a Live Event session for which I prepared a PowerPoint deck embedded with Slido interactions (polls, rankings, ratings and such). I plan to present this slide deck during the Live Event.Did anyone already tried this option? How well did it work? Any tips for me?Thanks a bunch!Stjepan
Love working with Slido at work! The polls are great for participants to show what they learned troughout our Webex Sessions. Anyways as mentioned Im working with polls a lot and I noticed that there is a bug when showing correct answers in a Survey poll. Im using the Webex Slido App, after i gathered all the answers, I lock voting, show results and then show the correct answer, but it only shows the correct answer of the first Question. I though maybe i have to do each question manually? but no that is also not the case. I found out that its working perfectly fine when using the Slido Admin app, but my colleagues prefer to work with Webex as some of them only work with 1 Monitor. I guess my question is: Is this a Problem on our Side or something that Webex/Slido have to fix? thanks in advance!
Hi all. I just started using the survey and sessions feautre, but when doing so, that seem to totally screw the order questions appear in the present mode navigation. Also the template part is no longer working as nice as before. I want my templates to have priorities over yours and to be able to search for event, sessions and survey, adding then an entire block and not individual questions. Anyone having better solutions to this? Thanks
Hi, we are using the slido plugin for Hopin, but would only like to use the word cloud feature from Slido for this event. Is it possible to remove the tab under Slido that says Q&A and change the one that says Polls to something else? I don’t want our attendees to be confused about which Q&A to use. Thanks!
I have a presentation tomorrow and creating a slido event that has many quizzes for. the team. Each will need to be treated as a separate quiz with its own leaderboard. I dont want to create multiple slido events (because this will be a pain for the audience). I want to create 1 slido event that will then have multiple quizzes with each one having their own leaderboard and not connected to the other quizzes. Is this possible? Thanks
Hi all, my question refers to "Active Participants". How are they counted? Are they people who have only logged into Slido with the code and are they counted even if they don't do anything like post a question? Are only votes counted as "active participants"? Thanks and KR
Hi everyone,In my Slido, the Ideas feature is the central element and the polls are just secondary. I want that the first thing participants see when opening the page is the Ideas tab, but I didn't find any way to do so. The link always opens in the polls tab. Does anyone know a way around this? Thanks for any help!
Hi there I ran a word cloud survey yesterday and it worked well in powerpoint after installing Slido into Microsoft. The audience was able to see the results on their screen as i shared my screen in zoom, it was great. However, when I went to review the results on my Slido dashboard, only half the responses display - see the comparison between a screenshot I took and Slido dashboard. In addition, you can see that “expectation for DCJ” is not even on the word cloud, but it shows on the left hand side that it was entered by the respondents, and you can see it in the screenshot. Why wouldn’t it display in the Slido dashboard? Both of these incidents happened in two separate word clouds. Can you explain why this is, this has lowered my trust that the Slido results will be complete.I also note that there are some easy double ups in the word cloud that you would think would be picked up by the software. You can see i have two “large case load” displayed, but the only difference is a “s”. tha
Sometimes you need help with approving questions and activating polls but don’t want to purchase another user seat. As an owner or admin, you can invite guest collaborators and assign them to help manage specific events for free. In this article:Invite and assign a guest collaborator to an event The difference between guests and users If you are not a license owner or admin and want to invite a guest to your event, please use this tutorial instead. Invite and assign a guest collaborator to an event Guest collaborators are users with limited rights to manage only one event at a time. They can’t access settings or create their own events. They will not be able to see or access events or data of other members under the license. A user in the same Slido organization as the owner can be a guest in multiple events at the same time. To invite a guest and assign them to a specific event:Go to the Team tab Click Invite and enter the guest’s email Under Role, select Guest and clic
I am planning to use Slido for an online training session in PowerPoint. I have two screens. My large monitor with my webcam on the top... and my Surface Pro laptop below. I use presenter mode on the laptop then swap that to my large screen so I can see me notes clearly and have my eyeline near the camera. The regular slide show for what the participants see remains below on the laptop. All good usually but when I click through to the Slido poll slides the slido presentation only appears in about 2/3rd of the slide. Anyone know how to rectify this? I need my presenter notes on the large monitor up top as I can barely see the surface!

If you’re managing an account with multiple users, it can be useful to see how they are using the account. This data can help you check whether your account is being used to full capacity and which users are the most engaged. In the Team tab, you can sort your account members by:name email last time they logged in number of their events number of questions and polls in their events role By clicking on the arrow in the top right corner, you can download a csv file with all of this information.
