Hi! I would like to know if it is possible (I haven’t found the possibility so far) to archive questions on a schedule? I have a very long event (18 hours) and it has multiple sessions. I would like to archive all questions every 2 hours (when a new session starts). So is this possible, or is it something that will be possible in near future? Regards!
Love working with Slido at work! The polls are great for participants to show what they learned troughout our Webex Sessions. Anyways as mentioned I’m working with polls a lot and I noticed that there is a bug when showing correct answers in a Survey poll. Im using the Webex Slido App, after i gathered all the answers, I lock voting, show results and then show the correct answer, but it only shows the correct answer of the first Question. I though maybe i have to do each question manually? but no that is also not the case. I found out that its working perfectly fine when using the Slido Admin app, but my colleagues prefer to work with Webex as some of them only work with 1 Monitor. I guess my question is: Is this a Problem on our Side or something that Webex/Slido have to fix? thanks in advance!
My event is a one day event but it doesn’t mean it’ll go on for 24 hours. It’s a 4-hour event. The shortest event duration I can set up in Slido is one whole day. I don’t want to wait until midnight to see the poll results. I want to be able to see them as soon as the event ends after 4 hours and share it with the participants. How can I end the event early, and access the analytics without waiting for the next day?
Hi. I have created a powerpoint with slido intergrated on my laptop. I need to present this to a large audience but will have to log in via the lecture hall computer without much time to ste up in advance. How do I ensure my intergrated slides present properly and the slido component activates? I can’t currently make it work on another computerThanks
We have a one time professional subscription. I have created a quiz that I have set the date for as 7-13 August. The event itself is on 7 August, but I want to allow people time to complete a short survey at the end so I extended the days). I have noticed an ‘assign session’ and ‘create a session’ tab in the three dots next the the Quiz session. What I have done by assigning then creating a session for 7 August and setting the time for the 2 hours the actual quiz will run on the day. What have I done here by doing this? ie Is this somehow different to the 7-13 August setting I set up when I created the quiz? Have I set a time which means participants won’t be able to log in and participate in the until the time I have set and will it shut down - lock them out - after the 2 hour time I have set? Apologies but none of these distinctions seem to be mentioned in your multitude of disparate instructions. Jason
Hi I notice in our testing of the quiz and survey that we have set up that although we reset the survey after each test, our testing data still appears in the analytics. Is there a way to reset the analytics so that our test analytics data does not affect the real data we want to collect at the event. Jason
Hi all, When I, as moderators, indicate a question has been answered,can the participants evaluate the answer? (either through a pop-up or a little link on their screen).In this way, the participants basically rate the answer on a scale of, for example, emoticons going from sad to happy.Does Slido have that functionality?Thank you.
Hi. So it was recently mentioned to me that during our webcast events the “Ask” button is not easily found for some people. On my screen, which I see as an Admin, it is always hovering in the Q&A area even with the bottom of the video player, which is great. Apparently for some users though, the “Ask” button is at the very bottom of the Q&A area which for some reason is extended and very very long so a lot of scrolling is involved to find it which means that many users don’t see it at all and can’t ask any questions. I’m inserting a screenshot of the issue. I can’t see a way to fix this in the Admin. We have a built in slido embed, so I’m just copying the link from the Admin setup and putting it in the slido embed. Is this something to do with the built in embed code, or is it something I can fix on my end? Thanks for any help!
Hi everyone.I have just set up a powerpoint presentation with some slido word cloud slides embedded into it. I am wanting to run the same presentation at a few different events. How can i set this up so the responses to the questions posed on slido are new for each event and dont show the responses from the other events..?
Running two monitors and I regularly use the feature in PPTX Set Up Slide Show menu under Show Type “Browsed by an individual (window)” instead of “Presented by Speaker (full screen).” Doesn’t seem like Slido works with the browsed by an individual….when I start the show and get to a slido slide, it displays the instructions “Start presenting to display the joining instructions on this slide...” and the QR code float in a separate window on my other screen. Other posts I’ve read said you MUST run Slido in full screen, which I’m hoping isn’t the case. My setup:Large 49” monitor with Microsoft PowerToys split into 3 columns, one of which I run PPTX. My second screen is my 15” laptop screen and that’s off to the side, so if I must run full screen PPTX in there to get Slido to work properly, I have to look away from my camera while presenting. I’m not interested in using Presenter Mode because I need other screen real estate. Are there any workarounds? Why can’t Slido load properly whe
HELP! I am trying to update my student daily slides for class today. Last week when I added interactions, the Slido slide was free and clear of ads and junk cluttering the slide, so I was able to see my question clearly. Now it does have ads all over the place, blocking my question. How do I get rid of all of that and only display my question again?
