Hey all, Is it possible to structure events in clusters and give different people access to single clusters? For example I would like to have several slido events for one team. Only the team should be able to access all those events and also set up new events within their team area.
I created a quiz in powerpoint, with normal slide interspersed between the Slido quiz slides. If a normal slide separates 2 Slido quiz slides then, the audience first sees “Get Ready” on the screen (see image) and the presenter needs to click again. “Get Ready” is not shown between consecutive Slido slides.Is there any way to skip this screen?thanksJosh
I’m running a quiz built using the powerpoint plugin. After each question, I am displaying a slide to explain the correct answer.I’d like to also display interim leaderboard along the way, but I want to display them after the answer explanation slide. The “Show leaderboard” option after each quiz question will show the interim leaderboard before the answer explanation slide that I created.Is there any other way to show an interim leaderboard or is that checkbox the only way to do it?thanksJosh
We’re considering switching from Menti beacuse of your better google slides integration. However, one thing that is holding me back is the open ended question format. Here Menti allows to show much more on one slide: Maybe this is something you can add/improve on slido?
Hi,I have added Slido to my meeting in Microsoft Team. I can create polls etc. and attendees are able to participate via the slido website login.The attendees however are not seeing the polls on the Microsoft Teams meeting screen. They are logged in via the app. Do I (as organiser of the meeting) need to do anything else so they can see the Slido polls on Microsoft Teams?Thanks.Karen
I have ended up with multiple occurances of the slido app in a recurring teams meeting that is causing confusion for participants as you can see 3 Slido buttons in the meeting view. How can I remove the unrequired slido tabs without having to reset the meeting up and starting fresh? I tried to uninstall the app and reinstalled and it add all 3 back in again...
I would like to create a non-live event and send users an email with slido link to Q&A. I would like to be able to identify users on the admin panel that are asking the question. (possibly a unique link for every user??). Is it possible to do it or we have to rely on users entering thier name?
I created a quiz in the slido website. I need to test drive it before the class, so I opened a TEAMS Chat window with a colleague. TEAMS already has the Slido app, and I can see it in the top of our chat window, but no way to share the quiz for them to test it. I watched the tutorials, sorry they are too general for me to figure out what the actual steps are to do this. The class is in two weeks and will be hosted in TEAMS. Feels like it would be easier to use Powerpoint in Teams and not Slido.
Hi. So it was recently mentioned to me that during our webcast events the “Ask” button is not easily found for some people. On my screen, which I see as an Admin, it is always hovering in the Q&A area even with the bottom of the video player, which is great. Apparently for some users though, the “Ask” button is at the very bottom of the Q&A area which for some reason is extended and very very long so a lot of scrolling is involved to find it which means that many users don’t see it at all and can’t ask any questions. I’m inserting a screenshot of the issue. I can’t see a way to fix this in the Admin. We have a built in slido embed, so I’m just copying the link from the Admin setup and putting it in the slido embed. Is this something to do with the built in embed code, or is it something I can fix on my end? Thanks for any help!
Hi, When I open Powerpoint I can see Slido. After pressing the box appears however I get a message stating ‘network error please check your connection and retry’. I have run the check.me and everything is green. I am on the internet so the network connect seems fine. Can you help?
As I can read, some other users had the same issues some months ago. I prepared the polls in Slido an try now to implement the existing ones in Powerpoint. But there are no polls.Sometimes I do see the event, but no polls, sometimes, I even don’t see the event. I have that problem for some weeks, now. It worked great over the last year. I work with the latest update and I am quite confuses and upset. What can or should I do?
