Dear community, dear slido team, for my virtual event I wanted to create a open-text-poll. My problem is, that there are <100 participants and when they answer, the presentation mode will go crazy, because it will always scroll as soon as a new answer arrives. Is there a possibility to “lock” the automatic scrolling and to scroll by yourself to see the new answers?PS: Sorry I am no native speaker, I hope you get my problem. Cheers,David
I am hosting an event in WebEx and using Slido to ask poll questions directly within WebEx (thanks to the new integration that just came out!) to our members who join the event. However, we also have outside guests that join the event that we want to restrict from voting on the poll questions. I’ve found how we can restrict voting on poll questions by sending users to app.sli.do and requiring a passcode. Is there a way to use that functionality directly within WebEx so users don’t have to leave the event window and can vote directly from WebEx?Thanks!
I am planning to use Slido for an online training session in PowerPoint. I have two screens. My large monitor with my webcam on the top... and my Surface Pro laptop below. I use presenter mode on the laptop then swap that to my large screen so I can see me notes clearly and have my eyeline near the camera. The regular slide show for what the participants see remains below on the laptop. All good usually but when I click through to the Slido poll slides the slido presentation only appears in about 2/3rd of the slide. Anyone know how to rectify this? I need my presenter notes on the large monitor up top as I can barely see the surface!
As students like to cheat, they use several email accounts to vote. To avoid this, I need to invite them via email to restrict their vote to just one. However, it seems that I have to add them one by one. Is there a way to bulk upload?
I’m wondering if there is any functionality to have either:A live connection to the data that is presented in Analytics, or A way to automate the export/delivery of those data sets.We’re looking to build event engagement dashboards and hoping to avoid the manual tasks of exporting data.
I created a quiz in powerpoint, with normal slide interspersed between the Slido quiz slides. If a normal slide separates 2 Slido quiz slides then, the audience first sees “Get Ready” on the screen (see image) and the presenter needs to click again. “Get Ready” is not shown between consecutive Slido slides.Is there any way to skip this screen?thanksJosh
Hi,I would like to organise several events in parallell (for example 10) with a limit of less than 5000 participants in each event.if i choose annual / Enterprise pricing it says i can handle as any events as i want, up to 5000 participants each.Do the events can happen at same time, or they must be separated in time?What imply the users limit in the plan? can i reuse a same account to organise several events in same time, or do i need a separated account for each event?PleaseThanks
Hey all, Is it possible to structure events in clusters and give different people access to single clusters? For example I would like to have several slido events for one team. Only the team should be able to access all those events and also set up new events within their team area.
If one has a large number of multiple choice questions (say > 5) the default format for display of responses is larger than the display window. Is there any way to reduce the size so this fits the diaplay, rather than having to manually scroll up and down to show results off the top or bottom?You can see that options at the bottom are outside the screen, and you have to manually scroll down...
Hi Everyone, At my work I train new hires for different types of positions. Is there a way to organize events into folders or something similar to keep them organized when needing to create multiple events for 1 “training event”. For example I have a set of events for customer support training, and a set of different events for back office processing training and my main dashboard page is looking a little hectic.
Dear all,I tested using the Microsoft Teams integration. Whilst this worked perfectly with my colleague who had not set up any events himself, I ran into issues with my other colleague. He had set up Slido events himself in the past.I launched the event during the teams call and he was prompted to log into his Slido account. When he did so, he did not see my question, instead he saw all the events he had set up in the past. Is there anything I can do to avoid this? Thanks,Karen
Hi Everyone, I have downloaded Slido for google slides, but when I create a new deck go on add-ons, I cannot select Slido for Google Slides.I don’t know what to do, I tired on Chrome and Safari and the same thing. (I use a Macbook FYI). Any ideas on what I can do ? Thanks !Marion
