Hello Team,
I wonder how can I unlink the event from the presentation? So far I don’t see any related option in the PowerPoint plugin to do it. Will you please let me know how to do it?

Hi Dmitry,
thanks for your question and apologies for our late response!
We currently don’t have a direct button for that.
There is one possible workaround to achieve this:
Hope this helps!

Slido continues to say my presentation is linked with another account. I had already used all my email addresses and it continues to say the same statement. I have not received any request for access in any of my email.I have deleted Slido app and reinstalled it. Yet, I have the same issue with this presentation.
Any input?

Hi,
How can I unlink a SLIDO that was created in someone elses account?
I need to use the same PowerPoint slides (that I created) but with my own SLIDO.
I no longer have access (as a “collaborator”) to the other SLIDO, but it keeps corrupting all my new slides!
Would appreciate urgent response - need to sort ASAP, PLEASE
Hi
Could you please try duplicating the presentation and then adding your own Slido event?
If that doesn’t do the trick, do you mind reaching out to our Customer Care team at support@slido.com? They will be able to help immediately and make sure you’ll have your presentation ready with your own Slido event.
Thank you!
I have the same issue. I am not able to unlink the event in someone’s account. Please help.
Hi
Would you mind trying the trick that my colleague, Francesca mentioned earlier - duplicating the presentation and then adding your own Slido to the duplicate?
If that doesn’t do the trick, please reach out to our Customer Care team at support@slido.com as they’ll be able to troubleshoot this further with you 1:1.
Please let me know if it worked or if you have any other questions!

This fix worked for me for the following error: "This presentation is linked to another Slido account. To edit existing polls or add new ones, please switch to the Slido account connected to this presentation or request access from the owner."
I had tried logging out several times, saving a new version, requesting access (even though it was my own account) as the error message suggested, but none worked. Just wanted to share this in the case anyone else gets this same error.
