I created a quiz in the slido website. I need to test drive it before the class, so I opened a TEAMS Chat window with a colleague. TEAMS already has the Slido app, and I can see it in the top of our chat window, but no way to share the quiz for them to test it. I watched the tutorials, sorry they are too general for me to figure out what the actual steps are to do this. The class is in two weeks and will be hosted in TEAMS. Feels like it would be easier to use Powerpoint in Teams and not Slido.

As I can read, some other users had the same issues some months ago. I prepared the polls in Slido an try now to implement the existing ones in Powerpoint. But there are no polls.Sometimes I do see the event, but no polls, sometimes, I even don’t see the event. I have that problem for some weeks, now. It worked great over the last year. I work with the latest update and I am quite confuses and upset. What can or should I do?
I’m using presenter mode for PowerPoint and when I get to the Slido slide it pops out of presenter mode into a full screen display. When I press the arrow key to move to the next slide I am no longer in presenter mode, all I see is the full slide screen. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Thank you!
We’ve been using a lot of Slido integrated into our PPT presentations. Often we share, pause sharing to see our team in Zoom, and then reshare. When I return to sharing my screen and presenting PPT slides with Slido, the presentation starts at the beginning again, rather than resuming where we were. Is this a known issue and does anyone know how to prevent it?
Slido can help create Quizzes faster by suggesting (im)plausible options Suggestions for your Quiz questionApr 1st 2021For your next Quiz, Slido can help you find potential options for your questions. The suggestions are just one click away and you can finish the preparation of the Quiz much quicker. Creating a good Quiz is a time-consuming job. Even when you come up with a good question and the correct answer, searching for the incorrect options can be very demanding. With the help of a Text Generation model, we are able to suggest options for your Quiz questions. While they can be generated using just the Quiz question, they will immediately improve once you provide the correct or incorrect answer(s). The model has been trained on public Slido Quizzes. “Our goal is to save your precious time while creating the Quiz and possibly also increase the fun element of it.” (Peter, Product Manager) All you have to do is to type in your Quiz question. The suggestions will be displayed once yo
Hello,we use a proxy device for Internet access, does anyone know what urls the slido add on uses to connect? We are able to connect to slido from any browser without any problems. When we try to connect via powerpoint, it needs further authentication. We have allowed https://powerpoint-addin.sli.do Thanks
Can different PowerPoint presentations refer to the same Slido event? I am planning to use in class. Sometimes, I’m not 100% sure how much will be covered in a single lecture. If I get to the end of one PowerPoint presentation, and want to start the next, can both of those presentations refer to the same Slide event? I don’t want to have to switch events in the middle of class.Or do I need to set up a new hashtag for each slide deck?
How can we suppress the autoupdate on the client? We use MS SCCM for the app deployment. When closing the app or PowerPoint it tries to make an update. Can this be suppressed, as the users have no right to install apps on their clients.?Thanks.
Hi,I was going to insert a poll into an already existing presentation using the PowerPoint plugin. When I press the button, on the right side of the screen I can’t see all the events I have in my (free) account. I see only one of them.If I do the same steps in a fresh presentation everything works fine and I can see all the events.I tried to copy the working slide from the fresh presentation to the already existing one but it doesn’t work.I tried to log out and in again but not solving the problem.Any idea? Thanks. Stefano
The Slido green button does not appear in the Home bar for me. I’ve downloaded Slido for Powerpoint three times and installed (and uninstalled, and reinstalled) it three times. I’ve restarted PowerPoint every time. I’m running Microsoft Office Home and Student 2016 (PowerPoint Version 2010, Build 13328.20356). I’d really like to use this tool, but how do I get it to integrate with PowerPoint?
