Whether you're running a Q&A session, testing the knowledge of your audience with a quiz, or sending out a feedback survey, up to 100 people can participate in an event with our Basic plan. With our paid plans, 200 - 5,000 participants can join. They can submit an unlimited number of questions, ideas, and poll votes. Visit our Pricing page to see the overview of all our plans. Preventing off-site participation
We’re interested in using the poll tool for audience voting at a live event. We don’t want to enable SSO as it will make the voting mechanism more cumbersome and we think our audience will be less likely to use it. That said, we have concerns that people on-site will send an image of the QC code poll to people off-site to vote, to help stack the voting in their favor. Is there a way to curb this behavior? Is there a way to see where participants are voting from in the poll results?
Duplicate your event
You can duplicate your events to use your polls and surveys as a template, or copy the whole setup such as multiple rooms and event settings. Duplicate your event To duplicate your event:Hover over the event, click the options icon and select Duplicate Change the event name and code if needed Hit Duplicate Without an active subscription, your new event will be automatically set up as Basic. What gets duplicated:Event settings Multiple rooms Created polls What doesn't get duplicated:Agenda Poll sessions Event analytics Submitted questions Submitted poll responses Individual poll settings (Locked voting and Visible results) Curious to learn more? How do I duplicate my poll question? What is an event code and how to change it?
An event code is a unique code that allows participants to join your event during the set event dates.Every event gets a default system-generated event code consisting of 6 characters. We recommend changing it to something truly unique, so your participants can easily join your event. To collect questions or poll votes in advance, send a direct link to your Slido event. In this article:Change your event code Useful tips & Troubleshooting Change your event code Customize your event code to something short, simple, and easy to remember. Get participants' names and emails and see who voted in polls
If you want to know who asked a question or voted in the poll, you can simply enable the option of requiring the name when they join the event. In case you are interested only in the names of participants voting in polls, you can ask for their credentials via a Survey. Alongside this, you can also set it to require the participants' email. To see who got the most questions right in a quiz, there's no need to set anything up. Participants are always asked to add their names automatically. Learn more about how to Run a quiz via Slido. Share access and add guest collaborators to your event
If you’re organizing an event with multiple rooms or you’re expecting a bigger audience, you might need an additional pair of hands to help you approve questions or activate polls. With any of our paid plans, you can share your event with as many guests as you need. If you’re using our free Basic plan there’s a limit of 10 guests per event. Please note a guest can be added to one event per each event owner in an account. Guests can't access or change any event settings. For an additional member to change event settings, this would require additional users. In this article:Invite guests to your event Allow inviting external guests when SSO is set for your Slido Organization Manage guests Guest competencies Invite guests to your event You can invite additional administrators to the event by email or using a shareable link. To send an email invitation to a guest:Open Settings and select Share access Type in the email address of the person you'd like to add Select Invite to send the email
How to keep polls active if I'm exiting presentation mode on powerpoint?
Help! If I am in Presentation mode on Powerpoint, how do I also activate each question? I will only have one laptop with me. My concern is that I will be exiting out of Presentation mode, and switching to the “behind the scenes” page which everyone in the audience will see. This does not seem correct and I’m wondering if I’m doing something wrong?
Unable to login via my work email
Unable to login via my work email. when I enter my email and click on “continue” button, nothing happens and screen stays the same. Also when I try to create a new account with my work email, it says user account already exists. As an alternate workaround, I tried to create webex account with my work email and attempted to login via webex with same work email. I got logged in successfully but not able to access the Slido event link as admin (event setup with corporate account and my work email has been given admin rights to manage). Unable to get through and access the Slido event as admin after multiple troubleshoot. Any help is much appreciated. Many thanks.
Quiz taken individually
Hello.I posted a question but it seems to have disappeared. I would like to know if its is possible for students to take a quiz without it being simultaneous for all students. In other words, they take it at their own pace. Some finish it sooner than others, etc. Some even start it some time later? Is this possible? If so, how is it done?
