Is there a way to disable the automatic chat message that gets added to the meeting chat when Slido is added to a Teams Meeting? For some of our larger meetings, we’ve disabled the chat function within the Teams Meeting Options (as we’re going to only use the Slido Q&A); however, it still posts this message and it’s confusing for our users. The message is posted from ‘Slido’ and states the following:“Hi there! You have added Slido as a tab, so every chat participant can submit a question. If you want to use Slido in your Teams Meeting, add Slido app to your meeting in Teams Calendar. Check out this quick video or our guide for more information.”
hi,I have an upcoming meeting on MS Teams with ~100 people. All participants are logged into MS Teams. Will Slido capture the login info for the poll? Will there be poll results by user- with each users login? Or slido relies solely on the email or name that people put in while responding to the survey? To get accurate info, I am trying to find a way to get people’s Teams login info on the poll results.Thank you!
Hi there, We have integrated Slido with Microsoft Teams and have tried it several times during meetings successfully. As of recent, we see that participants see the login page instead of the Slido Poll and Q&A page (see below). Could you advice us on how to disable this or how to unsure that participants do not have to login while using slido on Microsoft Teams? Thank you!
Hi is it possible to configure Slido to work in an environment that supports both Webex and Microsoft Teams? SSO was configured originally for Webex. We have enabled Slido in the Teams App policy and it ‘works’ however every time you access it in Teams it forces you to login again.
We want to run a weekly poll to check in with our team members. The poll would be presented to the team in a Teams channel. In order for them to see the poll more easily, we would like to embed in as a new conversation. We are concerned that if it is hidden away on the tab they won’t remember to look for it.These polls would not be part of a meeting, but rather a Friday afternoon message in Teams. Is it possible to make it part of the conversation?
Hi. I’m running a PowerPoint presentation using Teams, with Slido polls etc in there. I’m keen to use the new presenter view in Teams (where you upload the file into Teams rather than share your view) so that I can see my notes, and see attendees plus see any written comments/questions. However I’m finding that the slido polls aren’t functioning in this view at all. Does anyone know of a work around? If I simply share my view as a presenter (rather than upload) this means I lose being able to see the attendees and view questions and it basically becomes a one sided, talk show. But that said, Slido does work that way.
Dear all,I tested using the Microsoft Teams integration. Whilst this worked perfectly with my colleague who had not set up any events himself, I ran into issues with my other colleague. He had set up Slido events himself in the past.I launched the event during the teams call and he was prompted to log into his Slido account. When he did so, he did not see my question, instead he saw all the events he had set up in the past. Is there anything I can do to avoid this? Thanks,Karen
Hi, I would like to use slido polling as a voting of the winner in my coming events, this voting is suppose to vote for the country that have best practice and performance other than your own country, so I’m wondering is there a way that I can avoid the participants to vote for their own country??
I've been able to successfully add slido to a scheduled meeting if I set it up as a standalone meeting that is not part of a team or channel. However, if I schedule a meeting in the channel and try to add slido by reopening the meeting in my Teams Calendar there is no + button for me to add in the app. Any idea as to why I can only do it one way?
Hello, before reading that Microsoft doesn’t support running Slido in Live Events, I tried creating a test Microsoft Live Event (From Microsoft Teams Calendar) and it actually worked. Is there any update I missed? I need to be sure before running in org-wide. Also, there are org members who will be participants at the event who have E1 MS licences (they use only web based apps). Can they join and how? Than you in advance!
Hi,I have added Slido to my meeting in Microsoft Team. I can create polls etc. and attendees are able to participate via the slido website login. The attendees however are not seeing the polls on the Microsoft Teams meeting screen. They are logged in via the app. Do I (as organiser of the meeting) need to do anything else so they can see the Slido polls on Microsoft Teams? Thanks.Karen
I have ended up with multiple occurances of the slido app in a recurring teams meeting that is causing confusion for participants as you can see 3 Slido buttons in the meeting view. How can I remove the unrequired slido tabs without having to reset the meeting up and starting fresh? I tried to uninstall the app and reinstalled and it add all 3 back in again...
I created a quiz in the slido website. I need to test drive it before the class, so I opened a TEAMS Chat window with a colleague. TEAMS already has the Slido app, and I can see it in the top of our chat window, but no way to share the quiz for them to test it. I watched the tutorials, sorry they are too general for me to figure out what the actual steps are to do this. The class is in two weeks and will be hosted in TEAMS. Feels like it would be easier to use Powerpoint in Teams and not Slido.
