When displaying the results of a multiple choice poll, the choices and bar charts do not resize to fit the screen, and I have to scroll through the results which does not make for a clean presentation when you are displaying them on a screen. Is there any workaround for this? Thanks!
Hey Maggie,Work has been using Slido to deliver more dynamic and involved webinar sessions for a few months now, and as a tech-head I wanted to have a bit more of a look under the hood as it where as to where things are going. There are issues that crop up repeatedly in these events - don’t get me wrong, it’s a huge step up, but a slight elevation in a few areas would push it to the outstanding category. A couple of the biggest wishlist items we would really love are features in the Q&A section such as:[Option to] Enable participant-reply to questions - a lot of the time the presenter is so focussed on their presentation that questions pile up until designated check points (usually the end lol). There may also be attendees that are able to (or are better placed to) answer questions, or have a follow up issue or related topic. When replying currently this it is treated as a separate question, and with the default “Most Popular” ordering, responses can quickly get disjointed from the
Hey Community, Another month has passed which can only mean that it’s time for a new discussion of the month 🤗 Close your eyes and try to remember the last time you had a productive team discussion. It’s not easy, right? Yet productive discussions are key to great meetings. That is why we’re focusing on driving productive discussions, this month. Here are some quick tips: 📌 Get people talking from the beginning by running an icebreaker word cloud. Ask about a hot topic in the company. You can always moderate the responses. 📌 Before jumping into the discussion, ask people to write down their opinions in an open text poll. If you don’t want participants to influence each other, hide the poll results. 📌 To move the discussion forward, run a quick ranking poll and ask participants which options they would like to focus on. Is there a way to organize events into folders or something similar to keep them organized when needing to create multiple events for 1 “training event”. For example I have a set of events for customer support training, and a set of different events for back office processing training and my main dashboard page is looking a little hectic.

We would like to use Slido as part of a workshop. We plan to run 2 parts:Question that small groups (break out rooms) brainstorm their ideas/ expertise on We would like to then take this completed activity back to the larger group and have them vote on the answers. Is this possible? I have found I can ask a question and have people contribute responses (under Ideas) which can then rank the answers. However I noticed that if the same answer is typed multiple times they do not accumulate but appear as separate answers. (ie green, green, red, green). I just wondered if I had missed something/ a step.
Hello dear community,I thought about something that, in my opinion, would be really helpful. Maybe it’s possible but I didn’t find a way to do so.I would like to scan the QR code and then, the SLIDO app will open automatically (if it’s installed) and that you don’t need to enter the access code anymore (because you already scanned the QR code of your desired event = therefore another authentication isn’t needed).Is there such a setting?Thank you in advance. If you still have some great experiences or tips to share, here’s the thread - we’d love to hear from you 🤗 This month’s topic is all about All-Hands Meetings 🙋♀️ I think we’ve all experienced our fair share of dull and unengaging All-Hands meetings, especially after switching to hybrid or virtual setup. At Slido, we consider All-Hands the most important meeting of the month, where teams get together, share their updates, celebrate wins, learn from their fails and get all of their tough questions answered. 👉 Here’s a list of 8 fresh ideas we put together for you to try at your upcoming All-Hands or even Town Hall meeting. Some time ago, we talked to Norito Yonezawa, Corporate Strategy Planner at Suntory Beverage & Food Limited, a global leader in producing soft drinks and food products based in Japan and one of our most engaged customers. ✨ We’d like to highlight Suntory’s story of how Slido helped them transform their company culture and gave voice to their more silent employees. Like any multinational corporation, it’s vital for Suntory to keep its teams aligned. To connect its 24,000 employees with the executive team, it runs quarterly townhall meetings.Traditionally, in Japanese business culture, people tend to avoid asking questions or participating actively in meetings. Howdy. I’m using Slido and loving it. The audience seems to like it too. Tomorrow I’m doing a 90 minute presentation, and I’m using polls/surveys to break up my talking. This serves two purposes: 1. Gives a chance for people to engage; 2. Gives me a second to take a sip of water and mentally get ready for the next section. I’m wondering, in all the experience of members here, what have you found to be the _ideal_ time to give people a chance to answer the poll. I dont think (but am easily corrected) that really the number of people in the session–be it 4 or 56–has much to do with the timing; everyone can read and answer at roughly the same time.So what is the ideal time to allow as many people to answer the poll as we can get while also keeping the momentum of the talk going? I ask because it seems, using Google Slides, the poll on the screen is the only active one, and you can only have one at a time (unless in a survey), so if you move onto the next slide, people lose their chance t

Dear community, dear slido team, for my virtual event I wanted to create a open-text-poll. My problem is, that there are <100 participants and when they answer, the presentation mode will go crazy, because it will always scroll as soon as a new answer arrives. Is there a possibility to “lock” the automatic scrolling and to scroll by yourself to see the new answers?PS: Sorry I am no native speaker, I hope you get my problem. Cheers,David
Hi everyone,we are going to have an international online event (via Zoom) for participants speaking two different languages (German and Czech). It is going to be translated simultaneously and we are thinking about using Slido for Q&A session, however I have no idea, how to handle it in two languages. Is there e.g. a possibility for the moderator/translator to comment&translate an incoming question so that people speaking the other language can vote for it?What other Slido-tools do you think we could use in this two language online format? Quiz, ranking, multiple choice? Word cloud probably not because of the two languages…?Thanks for your ideas and help!
Hello Slido Community,I am trying to import poll data from a source outside of the slido app interface, such a google sheets or a google form.Other software platforms offer a Zapier integrations, but Slido doesnt.Any suggestions for a workaround, how to import data into a Slido Wordcloud without using the native Slido app interface?Thank you!Peter
