Hey community! Many of you have asked about our product roadmap and updates and we have been listening. We are running an event all about Slido's new features and plans on September 20th at 5:00 PM BST (9:00 AM PST) and you get to be first in line to ask questions. Submit your questions about recently released features, our roadmap or even a feature you’d love to see in Slido and your question might be answered by our founder and GM Peter Komornik or our Head of Product Peter Krajnak. Drop your questions in the Slido event embedded here, upvote others’ questions and remember to sign up for the live event. See you there
Each poll or survey can be accessed via a unique direct permanent link. This is especially useful when you want to collect feedback after your meeting or event is over, or if you want your audience to fill out a poll outside the set event dates (and leave it open for a longer period of time). If you want to share the whole Slido event, you can also do it via a direct link. In this article: Get event permanent link Get a link to a specific poll or a survey Get event permanent link To copy the direct link to your event: In your event, hover over the Share button in the upper right corner Select Share link with participantsThen, just paste the link to your email or share it with your audience via an internal platform. Hi there,if there are many questions/polls etc the only way to make kinda sub-folders in single events is the to create surveys. The problem with surveys is, that all questions are available to the participants at once.Is it possible to add a folder-feature to better structure the polls etc by topics, chapters or whatever (e.g. as a substructure and/or expandable portlet)? thx :)
Hi there,we're considering about switching from mentimeter to slido because of your google slide integration. However, one thing we miss is the ability to have multiple sliders on one slide. Is that something on your roadmap? There is a slide format as live polling from menti, where you can have multiple sliders like in the attachment. There is 3 things I like better in Menti then your ratings:1. Sliders are nicer than the bar of stars. Stars don't really fit certain questions (e.g. how scared are you doesn't relate well to "I am 5 stars scared").2. I can have multiple related sliders on one slide. Slido forces all sliders onto a new slide. This is very limiting.3. For large audiences, the distribution illustration is extremely valuable. If my team is split into two polarised extremes, the next steps have to be very different compared to everybody is centered. Both produce the same average however.
Slido allows you to add users to your annual plan for an additional fee so they can create their own events and benefit from all the features your license comes with. Available in our Engage plan (Annual) and higher. In this article:Add users to the license Understanding roles: What’s the difference between an admin and a user? Update roles and change member access Add users to the license Depending on your preferred option, our annual plans come with 1 - 3 admin seats. You (the account owner) can log in and start creating Slido events right away. If you want to add colleagues to your license, you can purchase additional admin seats, and invite them as users or admins depending on their future competencies. Go to Pricing page to check the number of admin seats included in our plans. Using the Questions feature, attendees can use their devices or computers to send their questions to Slido and easily upvote the best ones. It's a simple way to crowdsource the most popular topics at meetings or events and see what people are genuinely interested in the most. Your participants can ask an unlimited number of questions. Participants can do this anonymously, but you do have the option to set up the event to require names. More information about this is in our Participant Privacy page in community. In this article:Ask your audience to join your event Have the audience submit questions Manage audience questions In order to start crowdsourcing questions, you need to create a Slido event first. Ask your audience to join your eventOnce you created an event, ask your audience to join it. The most common way to do this is to go to slido.com and enter the #eventcode of your event. Make sure the event dates you set up match the actual date as your participants can only use the ev
Hi,On other platforms in the past, I was able to create multiple choice polling questions that I can lay out any way I want, with images, additional text, etc. For example (I teach biology), I would show an image of a cellular structure relevant to the quesiton, or include reference values needed for calculating an answer. I can’t find any way to customize Slido slides in this way…the only customization options are background images and colors. How can I add images and text laid out in a useful/rational manner to the question slides? It’s pretty useless to me without this ability. Thanks!Michael
We use the Zoom SDKWeb who for technical reasons require the use of CORS. See: https://marketplace.zoom.us/docs/sdk/native-sdks/web/advanced/web-isolationThe CORS security policy prevents the code from being executed from another website without the owner indicating that this operation can be executed.Due to this I must use my website without the security options.
hi,I have an upcoming meeting on MS Teams with ~100 people. All participants are logged into MS Teams. Will Slido capture the login info for the poll? Will there be poll results by user- with each users login? Or slido relies solely on the email or name that people put in while responding to the survey? To get accurate info, I am trying to find a way to get people’s Teams login info on the poll results.Thank you!
We have an event with (8) different breakout rooms. We have 8 different cities joining, one city for each breakout room. We do not want one city to be able to switch to another city’s breakout room, and we are hoping here is a way to lock that functionality. We see that, as a participant, you can select your room at the top of your window. Anyway to disable/lock that?
Hello, you can hide the vote count in the participant views, and still see the results in the admin interface. However in the presenter view (present in new tab) you and everyone else will see the vote count when you use the switcher function on the bottom left hand corner: Also it would be great to minimize that control (which you can) AND still be able to page through the individual survey questions/results, as without a working integration in Powerpoint on Mac, I’m using that view to share results with participants during video conferencing events.Let me know if I should post this as a enhancement idea somewhere. Thanks
