Schedule a future event from scratch
Once you sign up or log in to your account, you'll be directed to your Events tab.
If you want to set up your polls and quiz in before your meeting or event starts, hover over New Slido and click From scratch. Then, select your event name and dates, and change your event code to get started.
You’ll then be able to create your polls, quiz and set up your Q&A in Admin mode, and test everything out before your event starts.
Schedule a future event from templates
If you want to save some time, use one of our event templates under New Slido and From templates.
Events created from templates come with already set up polls that will suit your use case. Our current templates are: All-hands, Team meeting, Training, Online Lecture, Retrospective.
Don’t forget to adjust the event’s name, dates, and code as necessary.
Create a quick event
If you’ve decided to check the understanding of your participants via a last-minute poll, or simply want to kick-off the team meeting with a fun ice-breaker, select Present now under New Slido.
This will take you directly to Present mode, where you can add your polls or start collecting questions right away. Learn more about how to manage Slido directly from Present mode in this article.
