Details regarding App Icon Badges

Can you point me to details regarding Slido App Icon Badges and what triggers each so we use the knowledge to better support our users at the State of Illinois? See example of a RED app icon badge with (!) in the screen shot enclosed. thx!

Hey @Patrick B ,

This exclamation mark is usually visible when:

  • There is a Slido in the presentation and you are not logged in

  • There is a Slido in the presentation and you are logged in to an account which does not have access to the event

  • There is a Slido in the presentation and you are offline (which can also be due to technical issue, e.g. proxy).

To resolve this:

  • Click on the button which will open the sidebar. Make sure you are logged in to the account with which you created the presentation (or which you are invited as a guest collaborator).

Let us know if you get any error message in the sidebar. If any other issues come up please reach out to support@slido.com so we can further troubleshoot. We also have a helpful article on troubleshooting PPT which may be of help too.
