Slido for a naming competition

How can I use Slido for a naming competition?

 

I am trying to crowd-source a name for a new product within my company. I would like users to be able to

  1. Enter their proposed name for the product (up to 3 entries each)
  2. Then vote on their favourite names from everyones responses (up to 5 votes each including voting for their own).

I can seem to find a way to pull the answers from question 1 into the voting options in question 2.

Any ideas?

Hello @angus.hally,

We don’t have a feature that would allow you to do this in just one step. 

Possible workaround would be to either to use Ideas feature, or our regular Q&A to catch all the proposed names. 

Then I’d recommend to insert all these into a ranking poll, and set up the number of options to rank to 5, that way everyone can choose their own top 5, and you will see the results.

Alternatively you can send us an email to support@slido.com and we can brainstorm together a bit more to find some other solution if this one seems to complicated.
