I created a quiz in the slido website. I need to test drive it before the class, so I opened a TEAMS Chat window with a colleague. TEAMS already has the Slido app, and I can see it in the top of our chat window, but no way to share the quiz for them to test it. I watched the tutorials, sorry they are too general for me to figure out what the actual steps are to do this. The class is in two weeks and will be hosted in TEAMS. Feels like it would be easier to use Powerpoint in Teams and not Slido.
I know that you can change the language for a specific Slido, and that my webex meeting attendees see everything in the selected Language. Yet I can’t find a way to change the language in Webex itself, and some of my colleagues would prefer to use the app in German when they’re hosting Slido. So my question is, can you change the language for the Slido App itself IN Webex? And if yes then where? thanks in advance Patrik
Hi, I was wondering if the following is possible, but can’t find anything. I want to run a poll during a presentation. However, once I go to a next slide, I want to keep the question open. I always have 1 “normal” slide and 1 polling slide. Is it possible that users can actually go back, once the new question is automatically displayed, but they want to keep adding their answer(s) to the prior question? Thank you!
Hello, before reading that Microsoft doesn’t support running Slido in Live Events, I tried creating a test Microsoft Live Event (From Microsoft Teams Calendar) and it actually worked. Is there any update I missed? I need to be sure before running in org-wide. Also, there are org members who will be participants at the event who have E1 MS licences (they use only web based apps). Can they join and how? Than you in advance!
Live polls We’ve refreshed the look of our poll modal and made it even easier to add images to any polls. Q&AYou can now enable Question topics in Slido Labs. This new feature automatically generates topics from your questions so that you and your participants can easily navigate through larger amounts of questions during Q&A. 🏢 Organizational SettingsWe’ve added the option for account owners to enable or disable their users exporting data to Google sheets. This allows you to prevent your data being held on Google’s platform. Let us know what you think about our latest updates in the comments below!

Hello all,I just learned about the Slido not being integrated with Microsoft Teams Live Event. Very soon I will have a Live Event session for which I prepared a PowerPoint deck embedded with Slido interactions (polls, rankings, ratings and such). I plan to present this slide deck during the Live Event.Did anyone already tried this option? How well did it work? Any tips for me?Thanks a bunch!Stjepan
Hi is it possible to configure Slido to work in an environment that supports both Webex and Microsoft Teams? SSO was configured originally for Webex. We have enabled Slido in the Teams App policy and it ‘works’ however every time you access it in Teams it forces you to login again.
Can different PowerPoint presentations refer to the same Slido event? I am planning to use in class. Sometimes, I’m not 100% sure how much will be covered in a single lecture. If I get to the end of one PowerPoint presentation, and want to start the next, can both of those presentations refer to the same Slide event? I don’t want to have to switch events in the middle of class.Or do I need to set up a new hashtag for each slide deck?
Hi,I was going to insert a poll into an already existing presentation using the PowerPoint plugin. When I press the button, on the right side of the screen I can’t see all the events I have in my (free) account. I see only one of them.If I do the same steps in a fresh presentation everything works fine and I can see all the events.I tried to copy the working slide from the fresh presentation to the already existing one but it doesn’t work.I tried to log out and in again but not solving the problem.Any idea? Thanks. Stefano
I will be out of the office and a different trainer will conduct my class. I need a way to share my Slido event with him (or duplicate it) so he can access it from his own account while I’m gone. How can I do that? I used Slido via WebEx (corporate account).
I've been able to successfully add slido to a scheduled meeting if I set it up as a standalone meeting that is not part of a team or channel. However, if I schedule a meeting in the channel and try to add slido by reopening the meeting in my Teams Calendar there is no + button for me to add in the app. Any idea as to why I can only do it one way?
For smoother transition between Powerpoint slides and Slido questions, I have found that it is best to set the Transition on your Slido slides, to none rather than fade or anything else. Otherwise you will see the Slido placeholder first before Slido loads the question webpage because that operation does not occur until the powerpoint transition is complete.
Hello,I use Slido directly from PowePoint so that I don’t have to exit my presentation while presenting. In the past, I’ve been able to create a multiple choice quiz right in PowerPoint but when I try to now, it only allows me to create a one question quiz. Once I go to Slido website I can create a multiple question quiz but I’d have to leave my presentation to do so. What happened? How was I able to do so in the past and not anymore?
